Use rolling pin rubber rings to perfectly size dough to appropriate width and thickness. Roll dough to perfect thickness for cookies, pie crusts, puff pastry and biscuits. When a recipe says "roll dough to 1/4" thickness", how do you know? How can you be sure it is correct and ensure it is completely uniform? Now it is "easy as pie" by just selecting the correct pair of rings. Slip them on the barrel of your rolling pin and start rolling.
